Your tasks:
Order Handling:
Process requisitions and place purchase orders for both simple and complex parts with worldwide suppliers.
Track orders, handle JIT and VMI processes, and adjust to production changes for material availability.
Supplier Forecasting:
Distribute forecasts, provide background information, and attend supplier review meetings.
Anticipate production plan changes and adjust material availability
Monitor changes in production schedules to proactively address material availability, taking necessary actions to mitigate shortages or delays.
Invoice Verification and Approval:
Review invoices, resolve discrepancies, and handle complaints.
Delivery Monitoring and Escalation:
Ensure on-time deliveries and proactively address delays to prevent production disruptions.
Identify risks and initiate risk mitigation actions to maintain a smooth supply chain.
Supplier Management and Collaboration:
Maintain operational supplier relationships, handle external support for iCollab, and implement VMI with suppliers.
Collaborate with suppliers on contract review and supply capacity planning to ensure alignment with production needs.
Communicate process changes to suppliers and facilitate smooth operations through iCollab for PO, shipping, forecasting, and eInvoicing.
New Production Implementation and Transfer:
Support implementation of new materials and spare parts for production transfers.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new products into the supply chain.
Data Maintenance and Reporting:
Maintain purchasing data in SAP and iCollab, develop new KPIs and dashboards, and generate reports on supplier performance, inventory, and orders.
Training:
Responsible for training new Buyer 2 team members to ensure knowledge continuity.
Your qualifications:
* Completed Master`s degree in business administration, economics or related fields at least 1 year of relevant professional experience (in case of a subject-specific degree program)
or Completed bachelor's degree in business administration, economics or related fields with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience (in case of a subject-specific degree program)
* Fluent spoken and written German and English
* Specialized knowledge in Transportation Management, Logistics or Procurement
* Independent work in areas such as Procurement, Administration, Finance
* Autonomous processing of complete work packages and projects
* Ability to conceptualize, design and hold presentations independently
* Assumption of control activities in the matrix environment
* Confident demeanor in collaboration with global functions and senior management
* Very good analytical skills
* Good knowledge of the most common IT systems (SAP ERP, gSuite, Project Management) are welcome
