Your contribution: What you will do As a Sales Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for developing sales of Clarios’ products and services and handle all sales and engineering related activities in line with key customer strategies. In this position you will analyze market opportunities, develop, and implement strategies to maximize product margins while increasing market shares. The position will be based in our Clarios EMEA headquarters in Hannover, Germany. Your responsibilities: How you will do it As a Sales Manager (m/f/d) you will use your expertise to monitor the development within customer’s organization, and market trends including competitor analysis to ensure accurate product pipeline forecasting drive the acquisition of new projects, markets and customers manage sales and EBIT performance for dedicated customers lead high-level negotiations and manage contracts on prices, delivery terms, warranty, quality assess and ensure the acceptance of customer contract conditions, including customer specifications, purchasing conditions, delivery schedules, volumes, legal aspects etc. develop customer-specific annual budgets and operating plans aligned with business forecasts monitor inventory and ensure customer-specific logistics service level oversee regional pricing, accruals, and financial forecasting address commercial issues and collaborate with internal teams (engineering, quality, finance, etc.) ensure smooth product launches at customer plants maintain and utilize customer intelligence manage account receivables and coordinate plant audits for customer approvals lead initiatives to improve margins ensure customer requirements are met and handle related documentation Your knowledge, skills, and abilities: What we look for University degree in economics, sciences, or engineering technology Proven work experience in sales, ideally in the automotive industry Solid experience in the account management of a technical product, ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously Excellent commercial understanding and the ability to make business decisions Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and fostering long-term customer relationships Negotiation expertise with a track record of closing deals Strong self-management skills, with the ability to work independently Proficient usage in MS Office; SAP R/3 desirable Fluent in German and English Your benefits: What we offer you As a technology leader with strong brands (i.e. VARTA® and OPTIMA®), Clarios notably lives on the creativity, capability and satisfaction of its employees.
