Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Centralization
* Design and implement a centralized global supply chain strategy that ensures alignment across all regions and business units.
* Develop a unified approach to supply chain processes, integrating procurement, production planning, logistics, and distribution under a cohesive operational framework.
* Drive consistency and standardization in supply chain practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
End-to-End Supply Chain Management
* Oversee the centralized management of procurement, inventory, logistics, and delivery to OEMs, ensuring lean principles are maintained.
* Implement a single, transparent system for managing supply chain activities, ensuring visibility and control across the entire value chain.
Collaboration with OEMs and Suppliers
* Strengthen centralized relationships with OEMs to ensure seamless communication, consistent delivery performance, and alignment with production schedules.
* Establish centralized procurement strategies to foster strong partnerships with key suppliers and secure continuity of supply.
Technology and Process Optimization
* Champion the adoption of advanced technologies, such as centralized ERP systems, supply chain analytics, and AI-driven forecasting tools.
* Streamline operations through centralized data-driven decision-making to improve demand planning, inventory optimization, and supplier performance.
Risk and Crisis Management
* Develop a unified risk management framework to identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring global consistency in contingency planning.
* Coordinate centrally to respond rapidly to disruptions, ensuring supply continuity for OEM partners.
Team Leadership and Development
* Lead a globally centralized supply chain organization, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a shared vision for excellence.
* Develop talent within the organization, equipping teams with the skills and tools to operate within a centralized structure effectively.
Sustainability and Compliance
* Drive centralized sustainability initiatives, such as reducing the carbon footprint of logistics and promoting eco-friendly supplier practices.
* Ensure compliance with international regulations and quality standards through unified policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
* Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
* Experience:
* At least 15 years of supply chain experience, including leadership roles within the automotive or industrial manufacturing industry.
* Demonstrated success in leading centralized supply chain operations for a Tier 1 supplier working directly with OEMs.
* Skills:
* Expertise in centralizing and streamlining global supply chain operations.
* Proficiency in supply chain systems, ERP platforms, and data analytics tools.
* Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership capabilities.
* Experience collaborating with OEMs and managing complex supplier networks.
