Description The Berlin Center for Epidemiology and Health Research (ZEG Berlin) is a research organization in the heart of Berlin and at the forefront of pharmacoepidemiology research, specializing in the early detection and quantification of safety risks associated with the use of therapeutic, preventative or diagnostic drugs. ZEG is a Joint Venture with Oracle. As a Field Work Manager for the Research team, you will be responsible for recruiting patients and engaging sites to participate in clinical and non-interventional studies. You will manage the setup of field work operations within Germany for multiple non-interventional studies within the timeframe and budget and in line with ethical and regulatory standards. What we will offer you · A competitive salary with exciting benefits · Learning and development opportunities to advance your career · An Employee Assistance Program to support your well-being · Flexible and hybrid working so you can do your best work · Employee resource groups that champion our diverse communities · Core benefits such as life insurance, and access to retirement planning · An inclusive culture that celebrates what makes you unique Career Level - IC3 Responsibilities Responsibilities: What you will do: Communication with health care professionals (HCPs) including explaining study design, requirements for study participation, maintaining good communication with HCPs throughout study conduct Management and oversight of ZEG Berlin database of HCPs Preparation, review, shipment and tracking of HCP-facing documents (contracts, newsletters, study update memos) Training of HCPs, where required Coordinate cross-functional team of field operation workers Oversight of communication with study participants, coordination of follow-up calls, reminder emails, query management Working with different types of databases and data entry systems (C1, Greenlight Guru Clinical, Medidata RAVE) Handling of personal data requests according to General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) Coordination of payment of honorariums to HCPs and study participant incentives Required Experience: Bachelors degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession (i.e. nursing, medical, laboratory technician) 8 years relevant professional experience preferable working for a CRO or pharmaceutical company Knowledge of GCP, BFarM, GVP and GDPR Knowledge of German health care system and clinical ‘ways of work’Excellent organizational skills Outstanding communication skills Acknowledged team orientation Fluent in German and conversational English
