Head of Quality - Automotive Sensors - Onsite in Reutlingen
A leading Semiconductor company in sensing technology is looking for a Head of Quality to join the company in Reutlingen, DE.
The Head of Quality plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of excellence across all aspects of the business. This leadership position will oversee the development and implementation of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that drives continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Quality Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive QMS strategy aligned with ScioSense's business objectives and growth plans.
* Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all departments and functions.
* Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of quality assurance, including:
o Design and development processes (FMEA, DVP&R)
o Manufacturing and production processes (SPC, control plans)
o Supplier quality management and risk assessment
o Customer complaint handling and resolution
o Product returns and recalls
* Compliance & Certification: Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards (ISO 9001/IATF, ISO 14001, TISAX) and industry regulations.
* Manage and maintain certifications, conducting internal and external audits as required.
* Team Leadership & Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of quality professionals.
* Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
* Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
* Represent ScioSense on quality-related matters.
* Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
* Utilize data to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize quality processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Materials Science, Physics, Electronics) or a related field.
* Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Quality Management within the electronics or automotive industry, with a strong preference for sensor technology.
* Fluent in German.
* Proven experience in leading and managing quality teams.
* Deep understanding of ISO 9001/IATF, ISO 14001, and TISAX standards.
* Expertise in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, DVP&R, SPC, 8D).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
