Linde GmbH, Corporate Office Procurement Specialist Business Services & Travel (m/f/d) Pullach nearby Munich, Germany|req22419 What you will enjoy doing In this position, you will lead the strategic sourcing process and manage various commodities, which support Corporate Headquarter Functions including Financial Services, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications, Tax, M&A, Internal Audit, Digitalization, and other indirect services (e.g. travel sourcing) You will lead sourcing efforts to create a competitive advantage through cost reduction, consolidation of global spend, improved service, reliability, and productivity for business stakeholder In this role you will manage Linde’s Corporate Travel Program suppliers with focus areas global hotel-, car rental-, travel agency and corporate card program and you provide information for maintaining intranet pages about business travel at Linde and conduct trainings for business travelers and assistants along the organization Negotiate price, terms and conditions and implement contracts relative to assigned commodities is also part of this position Furthermore, you will drive deals of medium complexity to successful conclusion without exposing new or unanticipated risk to the quality, timing, or reliability for the corporation (including collaboration with Legal department) You will prepare, conduct RFP's and analyze quotations, recommend supplier selection and monitor supplier performance Part of your activities will also be to conduct research to build superior market intelligence as well as keep current on market trends, market players and best practices with Category Management You are also responsible for the supplier management process with key suppliers and you drive continuous improvement and innovation through supplier relationship management By developing key metrics, forecasting and spend/save reports you are enhancing the understanding of terms and market activity You drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of leadership objectivess What makes you great You possess a Bachelor's Degree; Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Business Informatics, or related fields are preferred.
