German Speakers Legal Counsel (Part-time) (m/f/d)
Location: Munich, Germany | Reports to: Senior Legal Counsel | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Germany | Work Arrangement: Hybrid | Language Requirements: Fluent/Professional German and English, written and spoken
We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team in Munich, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance, drafting and negotiating contracts, and guiding data compliance across the DACH region. You will support the legal function by aligning with the organization's objectives, implementing its legal strategy, ensuring corporate governance, and providing expert legal advice.
Other responsibilities:
* Provide legal advice on contract and distribution law, focusing on software license and IT consulting agreements
* Develop, draft, review, and negotiate distribution agreements, software licenses, IT consulting contracts, NDAs, codes of conduct, and terms and conditions, as well as English-language documents
* Advise on public and private tenders related to software licensing and IT consulting
* Serve as a point of contact for data protection issues, including reviewing data processing agreements in collaboration with the data protection officer
* Coordinate ISO audits, provide legal training, and manage external law firms for IT and procurement
* Fully qualified corporate lawyer with a successfully completed second state examination (Staatsexamen)
* Proven expertise in contract drafting and negotiation
* Knowledge of Austrian and/or Swiss law is advantageous
* Business fluency in French is a plus
