Business Development and Sales Support: Identify and follow-up new potential markets and an active push marketing approach into those new markets via direct and indirect sales channels. Drive sales in direct and indirect markets to success by supplying dedicated application support espl. via remote and/or on-site sessions with prospects Work in close collaboration with The EIMEA & APAC OMI Manager to meet and exceed annual new order booking and revenue recognition targets Build and manage a “Train the trainer” program for the SII Distributors & Bruker PCI/BBIO sales colleagues Develop and strengthen relationships with customers, collaborators, and key opinion leaders in preclinical imaging and provide tailored solutions Attend various conferences and customer facing events and work out a conference list with sales to focus activities Application Support: Product Demonstrations: Conducting on-site/off-site demonstrations of products and technologies to showcase their benefits, applications and conference talks. Provide basic and advanced customer training on both SII imaging systems and Aura software Offering application assistance and troubleshooting to SII distributors and customers, thus ensuring they can effectively use the products. Help our sales force and partners (distributors) with application related topics and escalate cases to lead applications scientist, service or R&D as appropriate Work with collaborators to facilitate talks/posters highlighting data captured on SII imaging systems Communicate and provide application support in a timely manner Travel: 35-40% EU; 5-10 % IMEA, 5-10% international Mandatory hands-on laboratory experience with in vivo optical imaging systems, animal model development and reporter constructs Optical in vivo imaging expertise is a clear advantage Previous customer facing role Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy and adapting environment Works well independently as well as part of a team Can communicate technical and application information and train both beginners and advanced users Willingness to contribute to webinars, tech notes, how-to guides and other marketing/public materials Excellent presentation and public speaking skills PhD in life science discipline Fluent in English; second language is of added value
