About the role As a Senior Business Development Representative for the German market, you will play a key role in identifying and engaging potential customers, driving new business opportunities, and contributing to the overall growth of the company. You’ll be responsible for prospecting and generating new client opportunities while also helping to guide and mentor your peers. In this role, you will be expected to build and manage your own pipeline of prospects, while also sharing your expertise to support other team members. You will be responsible for generating new leads, setting up meetings, and collaborating with Account Executives (AE) and Marketing teams to convert prospects into qualified opportunities. You should be comfortable working autonomously, managing outbound activities, and ensuring a steady pipeline of meetings and opportunities. What you’ll be doing Engaging with mid-market and enterprise clients via phone, email, LinkedIn, social media, store visits, events and more. Establishing contact with key stakeholders and introducing them to the world of Quinyx technology. Working alongside your team and manager to build a compelling story, drive interest and ultimately deliver meetings for your AE with quality stakeholders. Assist the manager in guiding the EU BDR team by providing support with messaging, best practices, technical assistance, and strategy, while aligning with both global and country-specific OKRs. Managing the account handover effortlessly, never compromising on communication and continuing to build and manage your pipeline for other new prospective clients. Articulate how our solutions align with customer needs and use cases. Set meetings with potential clients in the company’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Consistently meet daily outbound activity minimums, including calls, emails, and social outreach in order to build and maintain a strong pipeline. Adapt your communication style to different audiences. Maintain a collaborative relationship with Account Executives (AEs), Solutions Engineers, and the Marketing team. Ensure that opportunity and contact information is completed in Salesforce to provide a smooth handoff to AEs for further qualification. Participate in trade shows and industry events to engage with prospects and expand the company’s network. Qualify leads and uncover opportunities using MEDDPICC framework, focusing on identifying pain points and metric proof points. Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer challenges across the German market. Effectively track competitor strengths and weaknesses and adapt your messaging accordingly. What you’ll bring to the team A drive to hit & exceed your personal targets and be a team player. Confidence to manage your own territory & identify new market opportunities. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Can-do attitude is a must A natural curiosity and desire to learn about our client’s needs and build a greater understanding of the German market. Minimum language skills required: fluent German and business-level English. A self-starter who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams. A desire to help colleague hit their targets through hands-on support with messaging, best practices, technical assistance, and strategy. Collaborate with the team manager about what’s working well and areas for improvement. The WOW-factor Experience in a BDR sales role or similar. Graduated with at least a bachelor’s degree. An interest in forward-thinking software and technology. Embrace working closely with a team in an international environment. Desire to mentor less experienced BDRs. Experience in HR technology. Experience with modern SaaS tools like (Salesloft, Salesforce, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, etc.). What is it for you?
