Description The Human Resources Manager/Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for managing all aspects of the employee life cycle for the local operation. The role holder will constantly explore how the employee experience can be enhanced, whilst providing an HR service to the local team that is fit for purpose and aligned to SCOR’s strategy. Ensures implementation of HR programs and initiatives and drives HR projects. Responsibilities Key duties and responsibilities Manage SCOR’s HR processes, whilst providing guidance to the HR customers and ensuring compliance with the various processes – these include on/off boarding, compensation topics, talent management activities, job grading, performance management and L&D as well as local (legal) requirements. Responsible for the day-to-day cooperation with the local employee representatives – e.g. collective agreements. Participation CECC Meetings. Coordinator of local Diversity & Inclusion/Health & Wellbeing strategy/activities. Ensure regular communication to our employees and the local/global Boards about D&I actions – in cooperation with the Head of HR Z/C. As part of the employee proposition, implement retention and attraction strategies e.g. wellbeing events that our employees will value in cooperation with the HR Community. Manage the intern and graduate trainee programs, includes maintaining relationships with universities (in cooperation with T&A) and ensuring a positive experience for trainees and the business. Maintain internal relationships with the wider HR community and share information on various employee initiatives and external relationships with industry peers, ensuring that SCOR is represented at various forums (e.g. D&I committees, insurance networking, Insure Lab) and at the forefront of the insurance industry and keeps up to date with market trends. Manage relationship with the various (benefit) providers – AON, ADP, Relocation Service. Owner of HR Fit & Proper deliverables (single cases) and annual background checks (if necessary). Coordination of legally required processes/activities (e.g. psychische Gefährdungsbeurteilung) – and cooperate with General Services and Works Council regarding the Gefährdungsbeurteilung in the Office and Mobile Office. Ensure up-date of local HR Intranet regarding legal changes – e.g. collective agreements or employment law as well as compliance topics. Manage employee relation issues sensitively as they arise – this includes mediation, mentoring. Qualifications Required experience & competencies 10 years experiences in the field of HR profound knowledge of German employment law/ tax / social security / rules & regulations Excellent Organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines Solution & Results driven and passion to deliver high quality Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal with people at all levels Strong communication and advanced people management skills Required Education Master of Business Administration – ideally focused on HRM or related field or any equivalent combination of related education and experience.
