System Design Responsible (d/f/m) Lighting Systems

Your Tasks
The role of the System Design Responsible (d/f/m) is to define, develop, demonstrate, and support systems and equipment for the entire helicopter fleet, as well as ongoing development projects. The responsibilities are detailed as follows:
* To take responsibility for the design of lighting systems and equipment in collaboration with other departments.
* To coordinate collaboration with our suppliers from specification to final industrialization.
* To provide the documentation for system qualification and support the approval process.
* To define and participate in tests, both in the laboratory and on the helicopter.
* To define maintenance and operational instructions for manufacturing and customers, and to support these in problem-solving.
Your Profile
* M.Sc./Eng. or PhD in Aeronautical, Electrical Engineering or a related field required
* Several years of professional experience as a system engineer in general and/or with electrical systems is required
* Knowledge of electrical, electronic, or optical systems and their integration in aircraft or helicopters, as well as their testing, is advantageous
* Experience with control via data bus or lighting would be beneficial
* Experience in the field of aviation technology is desirable
* Knowledge of Google Suite is advantageous
* Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial
