Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
1. You are the internal expert for managing global processes and procedures for product environmental standards under global standards systems such as IEC, ISO and CEN/CENELEC. Examples of standards in scope include IEC TC111, ISO TC323, IEC 60601-1-9, IEC 62430.
2. You work with the Regulatory & Policy Manager in monitoring, identifying, addressing, and evaluating global environmental regulations and standards.
3. You represent actively Siemens Healthineers in standards committees in environmental working groups of trade associations.
4. You collaborate and coordinate with our medical device technical regulation and standards colleagues to ensure that all relevant product environmental standards are identified, monitored, assessed, influenced, and documented. You participate in internal standards working groups where product environmental input is required.
5. You collaborate with our Product Environmental Topic Owners for Lifecycle Assessment, Sustainable Chemicals, Extended Producer Responsibility and EcoDesign that all related regulations and standards are communicated, reviewed and where appropriate, supported in their implementation.
6. You manage the implementation of new regulatory or standards-based projects, for example the new Batteries Regulation.
7. You are an expert in Environmental Management Systems and collaborate independently with HR EHS to ensure effective programmes and procedures in line with the Siemens Healthineers Management System (which is ISO14001 compliant).
Your qualifications and experience:
8. You have successfully completed a degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related field; additional qualifications in sustainability or management are preferred.
9. You have long-term experience of global standards systems, committee representing and guiding a business in the implementation of standards.
10. You have solid experience of collaborating with technical stakeholders to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
11. You have experience of liaising with regulatory authorities and have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
12. You have profound experience in the electronics industry, preferably in the Medical Device Sector.

16. Your ability to lead cross-functional (virtual) teams allows you to drive continuous improvement programmes.
17. You have excellent communication skills (target group specific) in English, as well as skills in IT communication (e.g., PowerPoint) and training tools.
