Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Global Logistics team at our incredible Hero Hub in the heart of Berlin.
As Senior Technical Program Manager you will work hands-on with cross-functional technical teams and senior stakeholders to achieve broad company objectives. You will sit in a team that works closely with our SVP & Senior Tech Management, driving top management agenda from strategic planning to successful delivery.
* You own and drive complex Tech initiatives & programs that span across different cross-functional teams and domains.
* You help Tech senior management plan and execute strategic initiatives focusing on our pillars: Reliability, Security and Cost-efficiency as well as drive e2e Technical Migrations
* Using your problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, project management know-how, and technical knowledge, you will help product and engineering leads bring complex changes to life.
* You ensure transparency of project performance through your own reporting and KPIs. You own & communicate the progress regularly to senior management and project stakeholders.
* You help foster an Engineering excellence mindset and support the continuous improvement loop of engineering practices, ensuring valuable outcomes are delivered.
In our Logistics Team, you’ll tackle high-impact challenges that make last-mile delivery efficient, affordable, and sustainable. Your work will directly improve experiences for riders, end customers, and merchants across the globe. Each enhancement you contribute will help Delivery Hero optimize delivery operations, supporting expansion into new areas like grocery and retail.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of relevant professional experience in Technical project or program management, delivery lead and or cross-team Tech Lead.
* A proven track record in leading Technical programs at a multinational fast paced organization. Example programs include Infrastructure Migrations, Third party Tooling Migration, Building APIs and/or services from scratch, and driving Security & Compliance Initiatives
* Ideally you have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering and/or substantial experience in a technical role. We are looking for someone who has a technical background.
* You have experience with technical documentation and can expertly navigate tools like Confluence and JIRA highly confidently.You have a structured and highly organized way of working. Project tools, trackers & other dynamic ways to monitor progress are no stranger to you.
* You are great with people. Collaborating and negotiating with stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives comes naturally to you. Strong Risk and dependency management skills.
* Familiarity with Agile Methodologies.
