Job mission: The Assistant Manager Treasury is responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s treasury operations, including cash and liquidity management, financial risk assessment, and investment strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage complex financial transactions, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The Assistant Manager Treasury will support strategic treasury initiatives and serve as a mentor for junior team members. Your responsibilities: Cash & Liquidity Management: Conduct cash flow forecasting, monitor liquidity, and optimize cash utilization. Oversee daily treasury operations, including bank reconciliations and fund transfers. Financial Risk Management: Assist in identifying and mitigating risks related to FX, interest rates, and credit exposure. Support FX trading for subsidiaries and affiliates. Banking & Relationship Management: Maintain partnerships with financial institutions, negotiate banking terms, and manage accounts to optimize services. Investment & Funding Management: Support short-term investment allocation, credit facilities, and intercompany financing. Payments & Treasury Operations: Ensure timely and accurate execution of treasury transactions, including FX Spot and money market instruments. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to treasury policies, regulatory frameworks, and risk control measures, including KYC, fraud prevention, and K-Sox reviews. Subsidiary & Export/Import Support: Provide treasury-related support to subsidiaries and act as a backup for the Export/Import Team. Training & Development: Assist in training junior team members and subsidiaries on treasury best practices. Market Research & Analysis: Monitor financial markets and economic trends to identify risks and opportunities. Policy & Procedure Development: Contribute to improving treasury policies and procedures for strong governance and control. Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Support annual liquidity and net interest income planning. Project Participation: Engage in projects related to digitalization, e-commerce, and SAP innovations. Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Initiatives: Support management with special projects, data analysis, and urgent treasury-related requests. Your talents: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Treasury, Banking, or Corporate Finance, preferably in a multinational or complex financial environment. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in cash management, FX trading, financial instruments, and ERP systems (SAP preferred). Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) is highly desirable. Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Language Skills: Excellent English proficiency; German at least B2 level preferred. Certifications (Preferred): CFA (Level 1), CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), or an equivalent certification is an advantage. Who are we?
