Strategic Account Director - Process Manufacturing or Retail (f/m/d)

Together with selected strategic customers, you develop tailored strategies that enable the sustainable and effective deployment of Data Products to help your customers stay ahead of the competition in their industry and propose solutions to solve their key challenges.
These tasks are waiting for you in our team
* You lead an account team of data experts, solution engineers, project managers, and One Data specialists to develop the best solution approach and a differentiating value proposition for our customers.
* You are responsible for the complete customer lifecycle including but not limited to all revenue-generating activities, assessing customer needs, designing solutions, and proposal preparation to securing customers and their satisfaction in ongoing or expansion projects.
* You independently discuss industry-specific value of data products and lead negotiations at the decision-making and board level to help gain alignment and buy-in across key company stakeholders.
* Together with your customers, you develop initiatives (e.g., workshops, analysis of customer’s annual report, benchmarking, thought leadership) to identify untapped opportunities in close interaction with them.
* As our “face and ear” to our customers, you take great pride in developing long-term and good customer relationships and are the key to unlocking active expansion opportunities to support and drive revenue outcomes for our company.
* You are active in supporting and achieving joint goals between One Data and the customer.
Your Data - What we are looking forward to
* You have a strong academic background with a degree in business administration or technical studies, e.g., business informatics, computer science, or an equivalent qualification from a leading university.
* You have several years (7+) of professional experience in consulting for digitization or data strategy projects and data-driven business models from leading strategy/management consulting companies or leading specialized advisories in the field of data management. You have already taken ownership for the full business relation with a strategic account.
* You have several years (min 3+) of industry expertise in Process Manufacturing or Retail and accordingly a deep understanding of the business needs and how they can be tackled with the use of data.
* You are proficient in the latest data management concepts, technologies, and trends (such as data products and data mesh).
* You like to take initiative, are willing to develop your own business area, and enjoy taking responsibility for large project endeavors.
* You have a truly entrepreneurial mindset combined with a strong customer focus that allows you to reach your ambitious goals. You are not shy to tackle obstacles even if they seem to be challenging to overcome.
