A Snapshot of Your Day In this important and dynamic role, you will be responsible for leading activities related to bidding, tendering and execution of service project offerings including LTSA (long term service agreements) for stationary battery energy storage projects. You will be a critical team member focused on the development, go-to-market, tendering, and execution of service BESS products. In collaboration with the customer, EPC team, regional service teams; your responsibilities include the execution of projects starting at commissioning and continuing throughout the life of the plant. How You'll Make an Impact "win new opportunities" by leading, developing and optimizing service offerings including O&M, digitalization services, availability, performance guarantees, and augmentation based on customer requirements for battery storage projects Plan, develop, and execute service tender preparation in alignment with technical sales, EPC, regional entities, engineering, suppliers, commercial and legal experts Manage and/or support the tender approval process and escalate, if necessary to appropriate levels to solve critical aspects depending upon tender, customer requirements, and concerns Negotiate and manage contracts transforming the opportunity into a signed contract with a satisfied customer Handle all Project ExcellenceSiemens Energy relevant planning elements and milestone work results, incl. setting up and maintaining the Project Management Plan Accountable and responsible for planning and executing service storage client projects (cost, time, functionality, customer satisfaction) Define, design, implement and continuously improve the PM framework of executing service storage projects (BESS) service projects globally What You Bring Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or M.Sc. with 5 years of professional experience in client-facing roles related to bidding, tendering, project management, or project execution in the energy sector Industry-relevant project management experience or PMP certification, demonstrating excellent stakeholder management skills and a solution-oriented, customer-centric mindset Basic understanding of stationary battery storage systems, including batteries, transformers, controls, and power conversion systems, as well as familiarity with standards, regulations, grid codes, transmission & distribution, and market requirements. Comprehensive knowledge of service offerings such as LTSAs, performance & availability guarantees, RAMS, and field service Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in English, with German a plus Self-motivated, capable of organizing and prioritizing complex tasks in an intercultural and global environment About the Team Our Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid.
