Service Operations Transformation Director (m/f/d)
As Service Operations Transformation Director, you will drive improvements in our Supply Chain Operations performance for Spare Parts globally.You will optimize the global supply of materials, refine local stocking strategies, and shape our organizational footprint.You will provide strategic direction to cross-functional teams and lead change initiatives to help us achieve our strategic objectives for delivery performance and customer experience.
The Service Operations Transformation Director will report directly to the Senior Director – Customer Success and Services Excellence and work closely with senior leadership, including the Chief Operations Officer (COO).
This position will be based in Europe (exact location to be determined).
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a global strategy to transform service operations, optimizing supply chain performance and enhancing operational efficiency.
* Work closely with procurement teams and key stakeholders to localize the supply of materials.
* Define and implement performance metrics to track progress, measure success, and drive continuous improvement.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment, communication, and engagement.
* Lead change management efforts to successfully implement new processes, systems, and procedures.
* Collaborate with the IT team to identify opportunities for automation and digital transformation in service operations.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
* Advocate for service operations, representing the voice of Services within the organization. Foster a Service and Spare Part-conscious mindset across product development, engineering, and supply chain.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; an MBA or Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in Service Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management, preferably in a multinational company.
* Proven experience in driving continuous improvement projects with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering transformational initiatives in a matrix organization.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
* Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
