To automate and speed up our processes, you should be open to new IT-driven processes and strive for them. You are the technical contact for all customs-related questions of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy GmbH and affiliated companies. You evaluate questions about non-preferential and preferential origin or Intrastat with in-depth knowledge. You are also responsible for the further development and maintenance of the existing regulations in the mentioned areas through regular monitoring. You build a system for proactive detection of issues in the customs law environment and for optimizing existing customs processes. You conduct regular spot checks to ensure uniform legal application and build a customs network within the customs region Europe. You develop and manage a common legal understanding across the network, identify and implement best practice solutions, and take responsibility for corresponding policy competence for uniform application. You define requirements in the area of customs law for IT systems and implement them in collaboration with operational internal departments or our internal customs Functional Excellence. You oversee official customs audits in Germany in collaboration with stakeholders in the business and support questions in the original customs law.
