Merchandise Producer (all genders)

Working hours: Full-time or part-time (min. 30h/week)
How to make an impact - in a nutshell
As a Merchandise Producer, you will work with our team on the development, production, and improvement of our various (print) products. You will oversee the products from the initial idea through production to delivery in our warehouses, maintaining constant communication with the team, external producers, and service providers. You take responsibility and support our team in continuously expanding and improving our product portfolio.
* Planning, budgeting, and managing production projects from conception and development to the sale of products
* Developing a range of products, from traditional print products to clothing, accessories, and more
* Product research, development, and improvement in collaboration with creative departments
* Researching, selecting, and managing suppliers including price negotiations
* Ensuring and enforcing kurzgesagt quality standards
* Creating profitability calculations and planning with predefined goals
* Acting as the key connection and stabilizing force between creation, team management, suppliers, fulfillment, and shop partners
* Internal resource planning and allocation
* You will report to our Senior Product Operations Manager
This is what you bring to the table
* 3+ years of experience in executing and coordinating production processes or similar experience within buying/purchasing
* Solid knowledge of materials and manufacturing techniques (preferably with a focus on printing techniques – this is a huge plus)
* Confident and clear communication with external service providers and suppliers
* A precise and structured approach to work
* Fluent English (business level)
