Key Account Manager Location – Stuttgart (Hybrid – 2 or 3 days in the office/wfh) We’re currently supporting a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier specialising in steering and powertrain application with their search for a Key Account Manager to join the team in order to keep up with the companies growth. Responsibilities: Managing an OEM account on your own responsibility Building and maintaining the customer network and transparently showing the decision-making processes at the OEM Close and trusting support of the customer network Managing offer histories Developing a negotiation strategy in the acquisition phase in coordination with the sales management Preparing offers and checking calculations Creating and carrying out company, product and offer presentations Interface to internal sales, project management, development, finance, purchasing, production/process departments Participation in concept development Reviewing contract documents Conducting price negotiations Project management in the acquisition phase according to the defined RFQ process Preparation of the customer strategy in coordination with the sales management Conducting annual price and claim negotiations in coordination with the sales management Negotiation of customer contracts in coordination with the sales management Reports to the CSO Requirements: Previous sales experience min. 5 years, within the automotive industry Solid understanding of business administration Self-reliant and independent way of working, as well as a high degree of initiative, flexibility and ability to work in a team Analytical thinking skills, high self-motivation and determination Fluent English skills, German native speaker preferred Willingness to travel (max. 25%)
