1. Develop and execute a strategic sponsorship sales plan to drive revenue and expand WRC’s commercial partnerships.Identify, engage, and secure high-value sponsorships with global and regional brands, leveraging WRC’s position in motorsport and entertainment.Own the full deal cycle — from prospecting through negotiation and contract closure, ensuring alignment with WRC’s commercial goals and brand positioning.Align closely with Marketing, Media and Event department to develop innovative partnership proposals and activation opportunities.
2. Manage key sponsor relationships to ensure long-term retention, growth, and satisfaction.Work cross-functionally withing the entire organisation to deliver seamless partnership execution and activation.Collaborate with Marketing to leverage market insights, competitor analysis, and audience engagement metrics to refine sponsorship strategies.Represent WRC at industry conferences, trade fairs, and networking events, positioning the brand as a premier sponsorship opportunity.
3. Establish and monitor sponsorship performance KPIs, ensuring revenue growth targets are met and exceeded.Conduct competitor and market analysis, identifying new sponsorship opportunities and strategic partnerships.Provide regular reports to senior leadership on sponsorship revenue, market dynamics, and partnership success rates.
4. Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
5. Minimum 8 years of experience in sponsorship sales or business development, ideally within sports, entertainment, or media industries.
6. Proven ability to secure high-value sponsorships, negotiate complex deals, and drive commercial success.
7. Strong networking and relationship-building skills with industry leaders and decision-makers.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
9. In-depth knowledge of sponsorship activation, brand partnerships, commercial integrations and sponsorship analytics.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple high-profile sponsorship deals simultaneously.
