Key Account Manager

Then you might be the new Key Account Manager we are looking for, primarily for our office in Hammel, Denmark. You can also be located at our site in Estaimpuis, Belgium (French border) or Bonn, Germany.
McBride is the leading supplier of Private Label Household and professional cleaning/hygiene products. We also manufacture products for the biggest brands. We have 14 factories located in Europe and Asia. In Hammel, we produce dishwash tablets for the whole world.

The team is dedicated to brands, mostly eco-friendly products for the Unit Dose’s part of McBride (dishwash tabs and laundry capsules). You will have friendly and skilled colleagues who are located around Europe. In Hammel, you will be part of a team of 3 people. Your manager is in Estaimpuis in Belgium, and you will have regular contact with her and the other team members across the sites.
As Key Account Manager, your primary tasks will be with strategic as well as operational aspects as you can expect exciting and varied tasks from ensuring the commercial day-to-day operations, building and growing strong relations with key customers, to grow sales in line with the company’s strategy.
Your responsibilities include:
* Be the customer expert within McBride, ensuring customer needs and requirements are effectively cascaded.
* Generate a key account plan where required in line with McBride's strategic long-term goals.
* Evaluate customer product mix to drive improved profitability incorporating initiatives such as new products or complexity reduction and cost of product recommendations.
* Manage relationships and projects across multiple customer departments (commercial, technical, product development).
* Deliver budgeted customer Volume, NSV (Net Sales Value), and Margin for the Financial Year.
* Take responsibility and negotiate customer prices and contracts.
* Collaborate with supply and forecast team to ensure operational excellence.
What will make you successful in that role
* You have a Masters/University degree in Business/Sales/Commercial or gained equal through experience.
* You have a highly developed sense of commercial awareness. You already have account management experience. You like to create long-term relationships.
* You have Project Management skills and are used to work with other departments from Supply, Marketing, finance, and R&D.
* You have strong analytical skills; you are at ease with numbers/data and can manage Microsoft office tools.
* You have problem-solving ability, prioritizing, demonstrating organizational skills.
* Since both McBride and many of our customers are large international organizations, it can be of great benefit that you are used to navigating in larger, complex companies.
* You will be in contact with colleagues based in several countries, and our corporate language is English. Likewise, you will primarily work with customers outside Denmark, why it is important that you especially communicate effortlessly in English. Any other European language will be a plus.
* You show the ability to influence at a senior level, both internally and externally.
