Are you an HR professional with a passion for solving challenges? We are looking for a dedicated People Operations Manager to lead our HR efforts and support our dynamic multi-brand eCommerce group. In this pivotal role, you'll manage monthly payroll, streamline HR processes, and handle contractual paperwork for over 30 team members across the sister companies of Sunday Natural. You will work closely with Ann-Sophie Schäfer who will start soon in the role as Head of People & Organisation. Shape our growing organization's HR function and make a significant impact. * Serve as the point of contact for People Operations for the entire workforce, spanning 3 brands across Germany.
* Own the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate calculations, timely distribution, and compliance with all relevant regulations in coordination with our external payroll provider.
* Craft, implement, and refine HR policies and procedures that align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain and oversee all employee data in Personio and digital personnel files, handling the creation of employment contracts, certificates, contract amendments, terminations, and monthly statistics.
* Liaise with health insurance companies and tax offices.
* Serve as the primary contact for employee HR inquiries, providing support and resolving issues with professionalism.
* Take ownership of specific HR projects or special cases, such as visa processes, unique cases related to payroll, and occupational safety.
Your profile
* At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in HR administration with a strong focus on HR processes, policies, and payroll management.
* Very good knowledge of German labor, tax, and social security laws, with a commitment to staying updated.
* Proficiency in Personio and with our payroll provider Lohnconsult is an advantage.
* Keen attention to detail, well-structured, and proven capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
* Strong communication skills, empathy, tact, and the capability of interacting professionally at all levels of the organization.
* At least B2 proficiency in English and German, as well as a strong sense of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
