Drive operational excellence and strategic growth
In this role, you will lead the site and management teams across various departments, including Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering. Your responsibility will be to manage and execute goals for factory efficiency, productivity, and financial performance. You will also implement and improve factory processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading the site and management teams (quality, operations, supply chain, engineering)
2. Managing and realising efficiency, productivity and financial targets
3. Implementing and improving plant processes
4. Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
5. Managing inventory levels and service performance
6. Monitoring financial and budgetary plans
7. Working with the HR department to create a great working environment
8. Improve plant synergies and achieve COGS P&L targets
9. Developing local teams (skills and organisation)
You will report to the VP Industrial Accessories and work closely with various departments, including Sales, Product Management, Finance, HR, and R&D. This position is based in Nordenham, with up to 20 days of travel required.
Experienced leader with a strategic mindset
We are looking for a mature operational leader with a strong background in managing factory processes and leading diverse teams. You are an accomplished executor, motivated by creating results through others, and capable of navigating both corporate and factory environments.
You also have:
10. A relevant master's degree, preferably in engineering or industrial engineering/MBA
11. At least 5 years of senior leadership experience in a related field
12. Superior knowledge of operational functions, including finance, customer service, and production
13. Strong negotiation skills and experience with local unions and workers councils
14. Proficiency in data analysis and business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM)
