The IT department of the Unna district administration is repositioning itself in order to improve administrative services for citizens as a driver of digital change. We are looking for a highly communicative IT specialist with leadership and management skills to head up our IT service management department. Would you like to drive forward the digitization of administration with our team of around 20 people and focus your area of responsibility on new tasks and challenges?
Your tasks
* Ensure the availability of IT services in the areas of end device management, service desk and application management and continuously improve service quality
* Align IT services specifically to the dynamic requirements of a modern district administration
* Implement standardized work and service processes in the department
* Further develop the department strategically and actively participate in the realignment of IT in the district of Unna
* Take over personnel management, personnel development and the management of personnel resources in the department
* Coordinate cross-departmental matters, coordinate various stakeholders on a task-related basis and manage IT projects
Your profile
* Advantageous: successful IT studies or studies with an IT focus
* Alternatively: completed IT training, supplemented by a qualification comparable to a degree through relevant further training
* In any case, several years of professional experience in application management and/or IT service management and preferably management experience
* Certifications in project and requirements management as well as in service management according to ITIL or the willingness to acquire these in the course of training
* Sound leadership and methodological skills, including in the management of change processes
* Fundamentally familiar with current web technologies and programming languages
* Good written and spoken German for seamless communication with colleagues and providers
