As part of a succession plan, we are looking for a talented chemical sales engineer to join the Germany based business unit for technical surfactants
The tasks
1. Establish strong relationships with key account customers and secure continuous business
2. Expand existing client base to further countries
3. Explore and win new business in growing markets such as Asia/US
4. Close internal cooperation. with product management, R&D, production, quality and customer service
5. Managing the entire sales-cycle from testing to contract negotiations with different customer contacts
Your profile
6. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical engineering, commercial engineering or similar
7. Several years of experience in sales | business development | key account management within the Chemicals industry (OEM or supplier)
8. Know-how in the field of water miscible industrial (metalworking) fluids would be a “nice to have”, but is not a must
9. A curious, proactive salesperson who combines a hunter mentality with stamina and patience and who loves to travel
10. Based in BeNeLux or Germany to be close to customers and colleagues
11. Business fluent in spoken and written German (B2) and English
