Location Hamburg We’re looking for a Lead Designer (f/m/d) to craft and drive a holistic product design vision for CoreMedia, empower design expertise and align UX strategy with business and customer needs. What you will do Define and communicate an inspiring design vision and UX strategy, grounded in our product strategy, to leadership and other stakeholders. Shape and advocate for consistent UX/UI design standards across all product areas. Coach and support our designers embedded in cross-functional development teams - helping them grow and succeed. Set and evolve a scalable system of design principles and patterns. Work closely with our colleagues in Product Management, Software Development, and Marketing to deliver a seamless and engaging customer experience. Prioritize design epics in line with our Strategy and our Product Roadmap. Facilitate design workshops with colleagues and external customers to explore new ideas and uncover opportunities for improvement. Stay curious: keep up with design trends, tools, and practices - and help us evolve our design culture. Represent CoreMedia as a design ambassador at conferences, events, and meetups. What you bring You have 10 years of experience in product design, including 3 years in a lead or principal-level role. You have successfully designed complex B2B or enterprise software solutions. Your experience with editorial or content management interfaces is a strong plus. You bring a well-rounded expertise in visual design, interaction design, and systems thinking skills. You think strategically and communicate design decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. You enjoy mentoring and empowering others to do their best work. You are familiar with modern design systems, accessibility, and responsive design best practices. You have experience in working in agile, cross-functional product teams. You approach design challenges with empathy and strategy, balancing diverse needs such as user needs, business goals, and technical constraints and navigate competing priorities and resolve potential conflicts. You are fluent in English. German is a plus, but not required. Sound like a match?
