About the Role: The Hotel Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing hotel sourcing strategies that align with the organization’s goals. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that procurement activities meet the company's cost, quality, and delivery requirements. The Senior Sourcing Manager will collaborate closely with various departments, including operations, finance, and logistics, to optimize the supply chain and support overall business objectives. Our Ideal Candidate: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is preferred. 7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in Hotel Contracting or Sourcing in online distribution companies (B2B desirable). Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management. Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Leadership and team management experience. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in sourcing and procurement software tools. Key Responsibilities: Research,identify and select key hotels and key hotel groups that match the company’s quality, location, and pricing criteria. Analyze market trends, hotel performance, and customer preferences to adjust sourcing and contracting strategies. Staying informed about competitors, industry changes, and pricing fluctuations to ensure the company remains competitive. Expanding the portfolio in key destinations to offer a variety of options to clients. Negotiate new hotel contracts and contract renewals for the assigned territories and ensure to have the greatest availability with the shortest release period. Manage supplier accounts, by negotiating the best rates and inventory, and through strong negotiation of preferred agreements. Support supplier with any issues related to payment, rates, etc. Set targets with suppliers based on account management. Convert 3rd parties into direct business, to gain more market share on the specific territories. Introduce Company Group to new suppliers. Understanding Channel Manager connectivity and functionalities would be a plus. Prepare reports extracted from internal tools to identify possible weak spots in the contracted conditions in order to be improved. Support the sales team for any request related to special rates, FAM trip, or other reasonable request, for the smooth operation of the business overall. Supervise the loading process of the negotiated conditions with the hotels. Build good professional relationships with suppliers, through attendance at events, to gain a better understanding of market trends and product needs for suppliers.
