Join us as a Strategy Manager (m/f/d) in the Segment Strategy team of Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS), working from our office in Hamburg. This position is a fixed-term contract for 12-18 months (depending on entry date).
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing strategies that will significantly contribute to achieving the full potential of Danfoss Power Solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting and running DPS strategy projects in cross-functional teams, guiding the organization through the process, and be a sparring partner to the businesses and executive team.
* Ensuring that the long-term strategic goals of divisions are harmonized and cohesive with the overarching objectives of the DPS segment and Danfoss.
* Analyzing our Danfoss Power Solutions product portfolio and identify growth potential.
* Engaging in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) business cases, e.g. by assessment of potential M&A targets, profit & loss statements, markets, competitors, customers etc.
* Driving market intelligence by sourcing and analyzing data from various sources to facilitate decision-making and alignment on the overall strategy of the business.
* Collaborating across Divisional Strategy, Sales, and Business Development teams to develop strong strategic and competitive insights for all DPS businesses.

Key requirements:
* Educational Background: Degree in business or a related field, with relevant practical experience.
* Analytical & problem-solving: Great analytical skills with experience in data interpretation.
* Proven ability to manage multiple/complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Deliverables: Capable of producing high-quality, audience-specific content in both voice and written formats.
* Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Project Management: Self-driven, responsible, and experienced in leading cross-functional project teams.
* Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
* Fluency in English.
Nice to have:
* Background in Consulting, Corporate Strategy or a related field.
* Expertise in business case development, market modeling, financial modeling and/or M&A.
* Executive/C-level exposure.
* Industry experience (On-/Off-highway, hydraulics etc.)
