Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
Corporate Security identifies, presents and mitigates Security risk ensuring that the business can operate in all business environments by managing the risks to people, product, premises, processes and profit, reducing this risk to a level deemed acceptable by the adidas Executive Board. This directly impacts the overall strategic objectives of adidas, by ensuring risk does not negatively impact achievement of adidas’ objectives.
adidas is a highly mobile company with over 180k individual bookings in 2018. All these trips require adidas to provide and demonstrate duty of care by educating, monitoring, informing and guiding travellers and expats during assignments or during travel. Corporate Security recognise that local nationals should be supported so support will be extending location-based security information to local employees to ensure not only travellers receive the appropriate guidance.
Being a multinational business, it is important we keep the leadership and stakeholders informed of developing Global incidents and situations that may have a direct impact on business operations. Using worldwide intelligence sources Corporate Security is able to provide guidance and advice to allow effective decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver the World Aware platform within adidas
* Company communication to embed travel security awareness through multiple platforms
* Drive and develop Traveller / expat E learning
* Develop intelligence streams and internal communications to allow effective delivery of key information
* Monthly reporting of Geo political Risk, distributed to stakeholders
* Support People Risk Senior Manager to drive the implementation of the management plan for the People Risk
* Support multiple overseas workers and travellers globally
* Support the traveller medical assistance service
* Ensure Travel Security framework adheres to the principles of internationally recognised industry standards and best practice
* Support response to incidents as part of an on-call Incident/Crisis Management Response structure
* Monitor the political risk intelligence, information and horizon scanning reports and the security providers location risk assessments to ensure correct mitigation measures are applied
* Support the corporate governance framework of the adidas Group
* Deliver frameworks to ensure adequate governance and compliance checking of Traveller and Overseas Workers safety and security.
* Ensure operational compliance of adidas Group Travel Security framework
* Support Corporate Protection departments functions (Event Risk, Incident and crisis management)
* Deliver frameworks to ensure adequate governance and compliance checking of Traveller and Overseas Workers safety and security.
* Ensure practical alignment of Incident/Crisis Management response structures
* Implementation and development of 24-hour operations service using 3rd party provider
* Support Corporate Security departments functions (Event Risk, Incident and crisis management)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Systems project management
* Experience of travel security/ travel management
* Security experience preferred
* Ability to plan, analyse and present
* Ability to project manage programmes
* Ability to operate in a complex/multidimensional environment with regards to operational security, business resilience, risk, and crisis management.
* Systems: efficient use of data from a fragmented system landscape
* Make informed, calculated decisions to drive change and develop awareness
* Requirement to travel, where required, to drive an awareness and performance culture
Preferred Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
* Industry recognised professional qualifications
* Degree level education preferred
* Relevant industry experience in Travel Security, Crisis management, Security
* Professional Qualifications (CPP, Prince2, etc.) or relevant equivalent experience
* 3 years+ work experience in security, incident/crisis management, business continuity, travel management
* Experience of operating within a large multinational, multi-cultural environment.
