Summary of Job Contents: To develop and to manage the relationship between Festo and designated accounts area belonging to Industry Clusters / Focus Industry Segments through specific application knowledge in order to maximise and secure profitable sales of Festo products and services.
Candidates should reside in the Dallas Fort Worth, TX or Kansas City, MO areas.
Key Accountabilities:
6. Has primary responsibility for a customer portfolio, that mainly comprises medium, big OEMs, EU and strategic customers and prospects of a cluster or geography
7. Effectively handles the assigned customers through consultative selling of products and deep knowledge of applications and customer process
8. Responsible for customer visit planning, using existing tools (CRM) for monitoring, documentation and classification (Potential)
9. Defines pricing according to customer situation in coordination with appropriate Sales Manager
10. Is the main contact to customer and initiates team selling in case of complex projects
11. Responsible for the achievement of the agreed sales targets (budget etc.) acc. to his industry specific customer portfolio
12. Collects specific product requirements of the industry segment (IS) / industry cluster (IC) and gives input to appropriate team members
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
13. Engineering study (preferably in mechatronics)
14. Local language, fluent in English
15. Computer skills in M-S Office, CRM tools
16. General experience in the automation sales or machine design/building markets
17. Minimum 2-4 years experience in engineering sales environment
18. Outside sales preferred Inside Sales or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
19. 2 years experience in Festo
20. Specific industry experience as relevant to designated segment
21. Experience in fluid power particularly in pneumatics, automation, motion, sensors, controls, vision, or electronic drives preferred
