Glassco is a global provider of scientific labware. With 3 manufacturing plants, they market, along with glassware, many allied lines of products and accessories for laboratory applications in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical and various other industries.
To lead their expansion in the European market they are looking for a:
Distribution Sales Manager Europe – Labware
Reporting to the CEO and in close collaboration with the Export Sales Team you will manage and grow the distribution sales channel for laboratory equipment across the European market. You develop and extend relationships with distribution partners, driving sales performance, and ensuring the success of Glassco’s products in Europe.
Amongst your responsibilities we highlight:
1. Develop a deep understanding of the distribution network and market dynamics across Europe.
2. Continuous identification of sales and business opportunities.
3. Manage and expand the distribution channel.
4. Develop and implement sales strategies focused on increasing and optimizing the distribution network.
5. Establish the regional pricing strategy.
6. Definition of commercial goals and targets per country, distributors, product-line, etc.
7. Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and market penetration.
8. Analysis and reporting to the Management Board.
We are looking for someone with solid experience (approximately 10 years) in commercial management of the distribution channel for laboratory equipment in the European market. You are used to managing and developing relationships with distributors in this market segment and negotiating commercial agreements.
You possess a university degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, have full command of the English language and are willing to travel across Europe
