Job Description
Join our team as a Principal Architect for our ADAS and AD products in Ulm. In this role, you will be shaping our future architectures from vehicle level via system level down to software level. You will be working with a highly skilled global team of system and software architects in an agile environment.
As Principal Architect, you will be:
* end-to-end responsible for the whole architectures including execution in products and projects
* driving the system architectures for all Continental products from SAE Level 0 up to Level 5 in the respective area
* creating innovative architectures and working with the hardware and software teams to support our architecture vision
* breaking down requirements and architectures for the compute platform, radar, camera, and lidar, as well as algorithm components
* ensuring that we deliver modular, scalable, and reusable systems across different product categories
* collaborating intensively in an international and interdisciplinary environment with our high-tech industry partners as well as our management
In addition, you will be functionally leading the solution and release train architects.
Qualifications
* University degree in Computer Science or comparable subject
* Profound experience with scalable and reusable architectures, as well as experience in the field of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS / AD)
* Deep understanding of large-scale software products
* Solid understanding of UML, SysML
* Extensive experience working in large, interdisciplinary projects
* Hands-on attitude and result orientation, combined with a collaborative way of working
* Challenging existing paradigms
* Willingness to travel (approx. 10%)
