Bid Manager - Offshore Wind Locations - UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, France Salary - €100,000-€145,000 Bonus As a Bid Manager within our Offshore Wind division, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process for offshore wind projects, from initial opportunity identification through to submission and contract award. You will work closely with internal teams, including technical, commercial, legal, and project delivery, to ensure the successful preparation of high-quality bids that meet the client’s requirements and position us as the partner of choice in the industry. Key Responsibilities: Bid Management: Lead and coordinate the preparation and submission of bids for offshore wind projects, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, including technical, finance, legal, and procurement, to gather the necessary information, align on project strategy, and develop a compelling bid proposal. Opportunity Identification: Support the identification and evaluation of new business opportunities in offshore wind, contributing to strategic decisions on which projects to pursue. Risk Management: Identify and assess risks throughout the bidding process, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements. Client Relationship Management: Engage with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project expectations, deadlines, and objectives. Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in the bidding process, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, better quality submissions, and stronger competitive positioning. Key Skills & Experience: Proven experience in bid management within the offshore wind. Strong understanding of the offshore wind sector, including project lifecycle, key technical considerations, and industry standards. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids and stakeholders simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling proposals and communicate complex technical content clearly. Experience with tendering processes, cost estimation, risk management, and contract negotiations. A strategic mindset with a focus on winning bids and delivering value to clients. Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., engineering, business, or environmental sciences) is desirable.
