Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our Vendor Surveillance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our suppliers manufacture goods that meet stringent specifications and maintain robust quality control systems. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations of supplier manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with company specifications and quality standards and those of our customers. Perform regular audits and inspections of supplier facilities and quality control systems. Collaborate with suppliers, internal partners, and our customers to address and resolve any quality issues, providing guidance and support to improve their QC processes. Review and analyse supplier quality data, generating reports and recommendations for improvements. Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, audits, and quality control activities. Work closely with internal teams and customers, to ensure seamless monitoring of supplier products. Assist in the development and maintenance of quality control policies and procedures. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in quality control methodologies. This position require travel to supplier locations, both domestic and international. Work is performed in both office and manufacturing environments. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field or an equivalent vocational training (e.g. “Meister”). (Essential) Ability to read technical drawings and derive requirements. (Essential) Saudi Aramco certification or willingness to attain certification is required. (Essential) Excellent (Business Fluent) command in English, and in a further European language, preferably French. (Essential) Certification in Quality Control (e.g., ISO 9712, ASNT, CSWIP, API, NACE). (Desirable) Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control, preferably within a vendor surveillance or supplier quality role. (Desirable) Experience in the Oil and Gas Service Industry and with the relevant specifications catalogues. (Desirable) Skills, Training, Specialist Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of the requirements and implementation of the ISO 9001 quality system (Desirable) Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and best practices. (Desirable) Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers (Essential) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
