Chief Product Officer (CPO):
Location: Berlin
Salary: Upto €300,000
We’re supporting a fast-growing e-commerce business on their search for a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to take ownership of product strategy, innovation, and execution during an exciting period of transformation and growth.
The business is now focused on elevating its use of data across the sales and purchasing lifecycle—enabling smarter decision-making, faster product iterations, and better pricing through a more integrated and insight-driven product approach.
What they’re looking for:
* A true product leader with strong data exposure – ideally someone who’s worked as a CPO or CPTO with clear ownership of a data-informed product strategy.
* A background in e-commerce is essential – someone who understands fast-paced, customer-focused environments with high transaction volumes.
* Experience working in startups or scale-ups, ideally with direct exposure to external investors.
* A track record of leading large-scale teams (50+ people) across product, tech, and cross-functional departments.
* Strong understanding of how to gather and interpret data across the sales and purchasing lifecycle, and how to leverage ERP systems to create actionable dashboards that drive business decisions.
* You’ll be the bridge between product and tech – but we’re not looking for someone who is overly backend-heavy. This role is product-first, with data as the enabler.
* M&A exposure is a nice-to-have – not essential, but useful as the business continues to scale and explore inorganic growth opportunities.
