Publisher Development Manager
Following the expansion of our publisher network, we are seeking a collaborative, driven, and creative Publisher Development Manager to drive and manage an exciting portfolio of Editorial Publisher prospects. You'll be passionate about selling and excel at creating and closing new opportunities. Using a consultative approach to selling, you will use your expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with new customers including some of the largest publishers in the US, UK, EU, and APAC. Skimlinks aids publishers in generating additional revenue through automated affiliate marketing. By consolidating 24,000 partner programs from over 55 affiliate networks, million websites can earn commissions and better understand the purchasing behavior of their visitors. Clients include Conde Nast, Huffington Post, Business Insider, Buzzfeed, and Refinery29. Our goal is to help publishers be appropriately rewarded for the role their content plays in creating purchasing intent and to create a much-needed funding model for the internet.
Connexity was acquired by Taboola in 2021 to create the first Open-Web source for publishers that connects editorial content with product recommendations, allowing readers to easily purchase products related to the stories they read.
Responsibilities
1. Building lasting relationships with our publishers in Germany
2. Acquiring new customers in the DACH area
3. Optimising account performance and opportunities to achieve the strategic goals of our publishers
4. Creating and analysing reports to monitor progress and present strategic recommendations
5. Reviewing existing relationships and contributing to optimisation strategies
6. Pitching and onboarding new potential publishers
7. Setting up, monitoring, and logging customer account progress through internal systems and Excel reports
8. Participating in conferences and industry events as well as client meetings
Requirements
9. Successfully completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
10. Experience in business development and/or account management, preferably with a large publisher or another technology platform for online advertising
11. Good knowledge of various online marketing channels, including performance, display, PPC, SEO
12. Familiarity with working with technologies and cross-functional teams
13. Fluent in German and English
