Intro Atithi Indian Restaurants is a chain of casual fine-dine indian Restarants offering Food, Service and Ambiance in various cities of Netherlands. Tasks Performing preparatory work such as washing, cutting, (pre)cooking, mixing/stirring, etc. Assessing the quality (freshness, shelf life, etc.) of products/ingredients to be used. Preparing dishes according to recipes or specific instructions from the sous chef/master chef. Performing interim quality checks (garnish, taste, colour, fluidity, etc.) and adjusting where necessary. Serving, presenting and garnishing. Checking dishes for presentation standards (before they are served to the guest). Managing and checking the pass counter. Making proposals for changes to menus, recipes, garnishes, etc. Developing proposals in recipes and preparation instructions, etc. Stock management: checking, receiving, storing and accounting for stock. Basic knowledge and skills of the main streams of Indian cuisine. Basic knowledge and skills of operating Tandoor. Cleaning the work environment and kitchen equipment. Reporting defects and prevention. Controlling waste disposal, minimizing waste and controlling costs.
