For our Electronics & Industrial business unit, we are looking for a Key Account Manager (m/w/d).
The Key Account Manager is the worldwide central point of contact for a designated strategic customer and is responsible for managing the strategic integrity of assigned account and specific projects within account. Works with program management, engineering and our factories to establish, maintain and improve the business relationship between the customer and DuPont.
Your key responsibilities:
1. Relentless champion for assigned customer accounts
2. Main point of contact for customer as issues escalate beyond regular course of business.
3. Work with support team (program management, engineering and factories) to maintain strategic customer focus.
4. Information dissemination: Analyze forecasts, track project status, monitor design opportunities, understand and implement customer goals and objectives, follow market trends, and control the customer’s perception of Laird.
5. Together with Product Managers, oversee quotes and pricing contracts; including negotiations.
6. Follow-up and report on customer’s awards and forecast commits. Report findings to the business units and Strategic Market Manager.
7. Work with management to ensure that support team is adequately staffed, trained and positioned to fulfill customer needs.
8. Work with legal to respond to customer contracts, programs, and terms & conditions.
Qualifications:
9. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or Sales.
10. Fluent in German and English.
11. Ability to see situations from a macro view.
12. Ability to make sound decisions on little information.
13. Drive for results and ability to influence people
14. Excellent project management knowledge
15. Must have an entrepreneurial attitude in regards to the Account.
16. Up to 40% travel to customer facilities and other Laird facilities, including international travel.
