What you´ll do Evaluate existing New Approach Methodologies (NAM) on the market with the goal to create a suitable NAM toolbox for safety assessments of cosmetic ingredients. Develop a testing- and validation strategy for NAM-based safety assessments in alignment with an internal milestone plan. Initiate, coordinate and monitor external NAM experiments and collaborations. Engage with external stakeholders in expert panels to advocate for NAM and address hurdles on the way to their regulatory acceptance. Collaborate closely with computational data analysts, modeling experts, toxicologists, and cell culture experts to advance predictive toxicology. What makes you a good fit Ph.D. in life sciences, preferably in toxicology, pharmacology, biochemistry or a related field. At least 5 years of experiences in development, validation and/or application of NAM for the evaluation of systemic toxicity. Deep understanding of toxicodynamic and toxicokinetic (ADME) processes. Ability to drive progress proactively and with entrepreneurial spirit. Expertise in leadership and project management is a plus.
