Responsibilities Perform strategic procurement activities for transport services, ensuring alignment with Hapag-Lloyd’s strategy for cost, quality, and availability Collaborate closely with regional procurement organizations and local experts on these activities to drive transport tender and cost reduction activities, providing advanced methodological support to maximize outcome Drive the strategic planning, coordination, and global implementation of the category strategy, ensuring seamless integration from budget support, over actual execution to finalization within the Measure Tracker tool Oversee global transport procurement KPIs to monitor progress Ensure effective communication with upper management and key stakeholders while developing the role in alignment with internal teams to enhance tool usage and drive procurement professionalism and efficiency improvements Qualifications Experienced in strategic procurement, with a strong track record of cost management. Shows a high level of engagement and works independently with a focus on achieving targets Experience in implementation of negotiation concepts (e.g., eAuctions) Strong project management skills, including stakeholder coordination. Very good analytical and communication skills Business fluent in English MS Office skills, COUPA-skills desirable Availability for global travel
