What you´ll do Act as a trusted advisor to Henkel Adhesives business and technical stakeholders, providing strategic guidance on data & analytics architecture, data products strategy and best practices for data-driven decision-making Design and implement scalable data mesh architecture, reusable data products, enabling decentralized data ownership and self-service data capabilities across the organization Solution architecture design of end-to-end data solutions, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and high availability of data products across multiple business data domains Drive the development and execution of the Henkel Adhesives enterprise data strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and enabling data interoperability across domains Oversee the development of reusable, high-quality data products and assets, ensuring they are discoverable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs Facilitate proof of concepts (PoCs) and rapid prototyping to validate solution designs, test new approaches, and accelerate delivery of data initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, product owners, and data engineers, to ensure alignment on solution design, scalability, and quality Mentor and support technical product owners, data engineers, and analysts while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence What makes you a good fit Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Minimum 10 years experience in designing and delivering end-to-end data solutions, including data modeling, data integration, and provisioning for downstream consumers Proven experience in solution architecture for large-scale enterprise environments, with a focus on data mesh principles and modern data architecture best practices Expertise in data governance, security, and compliance, with the ability to establish frameworks that ensure trusted, secure, and well-managed data assets Proficiency in data engineering, ELT/ETL, and solution development using data & analytics platforms (Databricks, Power BI), programming languages like Python, SQL, and cloud-native frameworks (e.g. MS Azure) Strong leadership, advisory, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor, facilitate PoCs, and drive enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives Excellent English skills Some perks of joining Henkel Flexible work scheme with flexible hours, hybrid and work from anywhere policies Diverse national and international growth opportunities Globally wellbeing standards with health and preventive care programs Gender-neutral parental leave for a minimum of 8 weeks Employee Share Plan with voluntary investment and Henkel matching shares Company Pension Plan 100% financed by Henkel MEGA Preventive Health Insurance CareFlex Supplementary Care Insurance x Mobility offer: My Henkel Bike and Jobticket At Henkel, we come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
