Job Description
Role Summary
Main Tasks
1. Develops and establishes robust product road maps to capture growth opportunities and keep product differentiation against competition by defining the target market.
2. Develops expertise on customer buying criteria, target customer segmentation, competition to create strategies to win in the market.
3. Monitors competition; explores new markets, channels and alliances locally and globally.
4. Optimizes product profitability, assuming ownership for the pricing, managing the product in different life cycle phases, identifying key portfolio gaps.
5. Develops robust business cases for growth opportunities with deep understanding of the market, competition, and customer needs.
6. Drives the Marketing organization, contributing to the creation of product marketing materials, sales tools, product training, and more.
7. Develops and drives execution for marketing plans and launch plans in collaboration with the regional marketing team to create a robust new product pipeline.
8. Collaborates with R&D to rigorously drive next generation value propositions; generates novel ideas for defining and bringing to market innovative products and technologies.
Your Profile
1. Master’s of Science Degree in Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent/related field or Master in Business Administration.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position gained in the air filtration industry. Previous experience as a Sales Manager and/or Product Marketing greatly preferred.
3. Fluent in German and English.
4. This position may require moderate regional travel.
5. Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce tools.
6. Self-starter with high motivation to achieve goals and passion for excellence and a proven ability to succeed.
7. A forward-thinking, customer-focused, creative mind with an understanding of financial and business analysis.
8. Ability to build consensus quickly.
