We are looking for an HR Business Partner Operations who will serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees in a manufacturing environment, driving organizational efficiency and aligning HR initiatives with the needs of the operations team.
Your impact
* Support the implementation of Carrier’s values, HR processes, and tools, ensuring alignment with the company's operational goals.
* Focus on key areas such as employee relations, performance management, engagement, talent development, and retention, while leveraging knowledge of compensation and benefits.
* Collaborate with operational leaders to cultivate a strong company culture based on Carrier’s principles, enabling high-performance teams.
* Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and social standards in all HR-related matters, maintaining strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Oversee the employee lifecycle from a strategic perspective, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, while ensuring alignment with operational needs (operational recruitment is handled by a separate team).
* Actively contribute to HR projects and initiatives critical to the success of the manufacturing site, focusing on continuous improvement.
* Promote a strong focus on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance, ensuring operational teams adhere to EHS policies and standards
Who you are
You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization. You have a proactive and solution-oriented mindset, coupled with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. You also bring:
* A university degree (preferably in business, law, human resources, or a related field).
* HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or operational environment.
* A solid understanding of German labor law and its application in a production context.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to align HR initiatives with operational and business priorities.
* Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP and Workday is a plus.
* Experience working in an international and dynamic environment is an advantage.
* Fluency in German and strong English skills for daily communication.
