YOUR MISSION As a (Junior) Finance Operations Specialist (f/m/d) at plancraft you will play an important role in our finance team by taking charge of key operational finance tasks. Your role will be essential in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial processes, managing everything from pre-accounting to reporting and assisting in automating our financial workflows. You’ll report directly to the VP Finance and work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless financial operations and provide meaningful insights through structured reporting. Key Responsibilities Execute day-to-day pre-accounting activities including invoice and expense management, ensuring accuracy and completeness Act as the main liaison with our external tax advisory to implement new structures that enhance steering-relevant transparency, ensuring timely, high-quality month-end closings and addressing any discrepancies proactively Prepare and maintain regular financial reports for internal stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making across departments Collaborate in the development and automation of our reporting processes, aiming for efficiency and scalability Support the financial modeling process, assisting in updating and refining models to align with business growth Leverage tools (eg. DATEV, Stripe or Adyen & Spend Mgmt. like Moss, Pleo or Candis) to streamline and automate finance operations Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial systems, performing regular checks and reconciliations Salary: The salary for this position is between 40.000 € and 65.000 € per year, depending on your experience. YOUR PROFILE Are you a Match? Must haves: A solid understanding of finance fundamentals through a degree in finance, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Skills in Excel/Sheets and other data analysis tools, with an interest in automation and process optimisation 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance operations, ideally in a startup, consultancy or high-growth / dynamic environment; internships and working student experience also considered Familiarity with financial systems and tools, with a proactive approach to learning new technologies and processes Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data Basic understanding of financial modeling and reporting processes German (C2) || English (B2) Valid EU work permit available Nice to have: Hands-on experience with finance tools in a SaaS or B2B setting (eg.
