At RAPP, we focus on improving each individual's experience with a brand. Your Role As a Senior Editor, you will be responsible for finalizing CGI-based automotive content, ensuring seamless integration of CGI elements into the final moving image assets for delivery. Your role is pivotal in shaping the final output, creating cinematic edits that showcase the vehicles with a high degree of realism. You will need to have a deep understanding of editing principles, pacing, rhythm and cinematic techniques while ensuring technical excellence in the editing process. Your ability to craft compelling narratives using CGI-generated assets, optimize content for multiple platforms whilst maintain brand integrity and the highest quality will be essential. Your Responsibilities Edit high-end CGI-based automotive video content, ensuring seamless integration of renders and motion graphics as needed Collaborate closely with CGI artists, creative directors, producers, and motion designers to bring vehicle render sequences to life. Shape and refine narratives using pacing, rhythm, music, and sound design, ensuring dynamic and engaging automotive storytelling. Ensure seamless post-production workflows, managing timelines and delivering final assets within project deadlines. Work closely with the Grader to ensure a cinematic and photorealistic look for CGI vehicle content. Maintain organised project files and edit sequences for seamless collaboration across teams. Troubleshoot technical challenges as required • Work on CGI-based automotive model launches and brand films, ensuring consistency and quality Stay up to date with advancements in editing and AI-enhanced post-production Provide creative input and collaborate in brainstorming sessions Your Experience A good understanding of German language A highly skilled Senior Video Editor with extensive experience in automotive CGI post-production and / or high-end commercial content. Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, • Strong understanding of CGI rendering pipelines and grading Experience in editing high-resolution CGI vehicle content (4K/8K) with advanced VFX integration Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, high performance environment. A problem-solver who can handle tight turnarounds and work under pressure Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take creative direction and feedback effectively. Understanding of automotive marketing and storytelling. Familiarity with industry-standard CGI post-production workflows A collaborative team player who thrives in a creative and fast paced post-production environment.
