Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) Inside Sales North Region
The Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) Inside Sales leads a team of sales representatives within a defined territory. They sell research products and services primarily through telephone communication, bringing to bear email, Internet, and other technology. This role is accountable for ensuring the team has effective customer relations, develops opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Design and put into action a sales strategy for a region to achieve revenue and gross margin targets based on company financial models.
2. Develop strategy to incorporate and complement Thermo Fisher''s objectives into the overall segment and region strategy, demonstrating the use of digital technology.
3. Work to drive product sales to support supplier partnerships and actively promote core products and valuable services.
4. Efficiently and proactively lead account managers'' performance through regular reviews and other company standard processes.
5. Ensure your team aligns with company procedures and policies.
6. Continually measure personal and team success against business plans, making the challenges, interventions, and decisions to deliver, or exceed plan expectations.
7. Own the strategic direction for the region, guiding the sales team to achieve sales goals and expand business.
8. Perform sales calls and vendor relations with all customers and potential customers.
