The product segment is one of four strategic growth areas of B. Braun’s Hospital Care division. An important growth driver is the transformation of the established product business into an Ecosystem solutions business including infusion devices, disposables as well as digital applications and services. For the implementation of this strategy, we are seeking to fill the position of the System Architect for the digital Ecosystem. Own the technical conception of B. Braun’s Smart Infusion Ecosystem and guide its implementation by the wider R&D organization. Duties and responsibilities Capture, analyze and model ecosystem stakeholder requirements in the form of cross-system processes, workflows and use cases Define and model the technical architecture of the ecosystem. Lead architectural decisions through structured trade-off analysis and active collaboration with relevant stakeholders Collaborate with subsystem and product experts to refine and implement stakeholder requirements and system architecture Drive system integration activities by managing and supporting interface definition, design and verification Work with risk management to identify and mitigate safety and security risks on ecosystem and subsequent levels Support the test laboratory in developing concepts and infrastructures for the verification and validation of stakeholder requirements Professional competencies Master’s degree in engineering or equal Several years of experience in systems engineering for complex connected systems / products Deep knowledge of model-based, data centric system engineering approaches Exposure to Medical Devices and/or Healthcare IT domains Excellent command of German and/or English language Personal competencies Passion for technology Strong analytical skills Results orientation High level of engagement, accountability and resilience Dedicated team player Excellent communication skills What we offer Become part of a corporate culture that actively promotes constructive exchanges between colleagues, customers and partners.
