Your role
1. Strategic development of business in the automotive sector with products in the areas of lighting, sensor technology, displays, head-up-displays and HMI based on holographic / microoptical solutions with a regional focus on Europe and North America
2. Ongoing analysis of the automotive market environment and identification of business potential
3. Continuous screening of the market to acquire new customers (OEM, Tier 1 and Tier 2)
4. Business case creation based on market and customer data
5. Development of new business strategies
6. Business model development together with (potential) customers and evaluation of cooperation opportunities
7. Analysis of trends and identification and initial evaluation of competing products
8. Drafting/coordinating contracts, negotiations (cooperation, series and framework contracts) in collaboration with the legal/patent departments
9. Development, support and consulting of key customers in the automotive industry
10. Development of product roadmaps together with customers and partners
11. Preparation and execution of customer visits; support of exhibitions
12. Management of projects for strategic business development
Your profile
13. Several years of verified professional experience in business development and/or key account management in the automotive sector, ideally in Europe and North America
14. An educational background in the field of economics, engineering or natural sciences
15. Extensive experience in contract and price negotiations and project management
16. Confident appearance combined with an analytical and results-oriented independent way of working
17. A professional approach to customers and a high level of customer orientation
18. Social skills, in particular the ability to work in a team and a high level of resilience
19. Structured, goal-oriented and interdisciplinary way of working; persuasiveness, intercultural sensitivity, and integrity
20. Very good knowledge of English (business fluent) and willingness to travel abroad (especially Europe North America)
21. Very confident with MS Office, ideally experience with Salesforce
