Your Job:
1. Developing a measurement set-up including the electromyographic signal measurement system and a motion tracking system for reference, and event-based vision
2. Collecting data to build a new dataset for fast finger motion
3. Use the dataset to train an artificial neural network for finger-position estimation
4. Making a live demonstration of finger-position estimation with electromyographic signals
5. Exploring in-context learning techniques and novel neural networks architecture to improve adaptability from subject-to-subject and day-to-day
Your Profile:
6. Current master studies in biomedical engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics, electrical/electronic engineering or a related subject
7. Strong programming skills (Python)
8. Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (, PyTorch)
9. Knowledge of signal processing techniques and experience with EMG data analysis or other biomedical data is a plus
10. Experience with spiking neural networks and/or neuromorphic computing is a plus
11. 3D modeling is a plus
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
13. Experimental enthusiasm is a must!
